These terms are intended to clearly define responsibilities when using this website, requesting pickup, submitting equipment, purchasing inventory, or relying on documentation from Red Ridge Solutions.
By submitting a pickup request, releasing equipment, or authorizing Red Ridge Solutions to remove equipment, the customer represents that they own the equipment or have full authority to release it for pickup, processing, resale, recycling, wiping, destruction, or other disposition. The customer is responsible for resolving internal approvals, liens, leases, asset ownership disputes, employee property issues, and third-party ownership claims before equipment is released.
Pickup acceptance does not guarantee resale, recycling, destruction, compensation, or a specific downstream outcome. Red Ridge Solutions may evaluate equipment and determine whether items are reusable, resalable, repairable, recyclable, or unsuitable. Equipment released to Red Ridge Solutions may be processed, wiped, reset, sold, donated, recycled, dismantled, or disposed of unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Customers should remove, back up, encrypt, wipe, or otherwise secure data before releasing equipment. Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, the customer remains responsible for identifying devices that contain sensitive, regulated, confidential, proprietary, health, financial, customer, employee, or other protected information.
When data handling is requested and applicable, Red Ridge Solutions may perform or document a wipe, reset, purge, cryptographic erase, physical destruction, or other handling method based on device type, condition, access, and feasibility. A Certificate of Data Destruction documents the method represented by Red Ridge Solutions for the listed equipment; it is not a guarantee that every device was recoverable, readable, functional, complete, or capable of software verification unless specifically stated.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Red Ridge Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, lost profit, lost revenue, business interruption, data breach, data loss, device failure, or third-party claim damages arising from equipment released by the customer, inaccurate pickup information, undisclosed data, mistaken release of equipment, resale, recycling, wiping, destruction, or website use.
The customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold Red Ridge Solutions harmless from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, fees, costs, and expenses arising from customer-provided information, lack of authority to release equipment, ownership disputes, undisclosed data, regulated information, inaccurate device lists, failure to preserve needed data, or claims made by the customer’s employees, vendors, clients, affiliates, or other third parties.
Used equipment is generally sold as-is unless a written listing states otherwise. Descriptions, specifications, quantities, model numbers, and photos are provided in good faith but may contain errors. Buyers are responsible for confirming compatibility, licensing, power requirements, condition, and intended use before purchase.
Red Ridge Solutions does not guarantee that a customer’s use of the service satisfies all legal, regulatory, insurance, contractual, retention, or industry-specific requirements. Customers should consult their own legal, compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, insurance, and accounting advisors.
